More acts confirmed!!/Press Release

Hey everyone!

We've got less than 2 weeks to go now til the benefit and things are really getting in motion!

On Saturday I attended another charity event for Chile, in midtown, and met a bunch of Chileans (and others partial to the country's relief cause) who live in the New York area, and promoted the concert. Everyone was so enthusiastic! I think many of them will come.
One of the guests I met runs a website for Chileans in NY and posted a link to help promote the event on his site. linked here: --> www.nyc4chile.org.
The Chilean community in NY is not so big so I imagine word of the concert is traveling fast.
Really hoping to have a strong showing from their community!

Also over the weekend, we confirmed Jonah Smith and Paula Valstein as additions to the line up! I've known both of them for years in and around NYC, and they're both AMAZING! I'm SO thrilled to have them on the bill!

“Concert for Chile” Benefit Show featuring Chris Barron (of the Spin Doctors), Jerry Joseph, Jonah Smith, Craig Greenberg and others.

(Brooklyn, NY - April 11, 2010) Seeing Green Music and Two Shes Productions jointly present a concert on April 11th at Brooklyn Bowl as part of the fundraising effort for the victims of February’s earthquake and tsunami in Chile.

The concert will feature singer/songwriter Chris Barron of the Grammy-nominated Spin Doctors, as well as performances by notable songwriter Jerry Joseph (Stockholm Syndrome, The Jackmormons), Jonah Smith, Paula Valstein, Craig Greenberg, and more.

“Concert for Chile” was born out of the desire of NYC-based singer/songwriter Craig Greenberg, to give back to the city of Concepcion, where he got his start performing while living there in 2002. Concepcion was the hardest hit city in Chile in this recent natural disaster.

It is estimated that the earthquake has affected at least 1.5 million people in the area. According to the International Red Cross, it could take between 5-7 years and billions of dollars for the area to recover.
